Cinema
Vue have committed to the Multiplex within the development, which is to provide an 8 screen state of the art facility, which is currently under construction and deemed to open for trade in September 2008. Vue have recognised the lack of screens within this catchment, with the only competition coming from Cineworld, located in a retail park location on the eastern extreme of Newport, or in Cardiff.

Bowl
Bowlplex have signed for a 20 lane Ten Pin Bowl Bowlplex are the largest independent operator in the UK and offer a range of facilities within their units including American Pool, Amusements and a Restaurant / Bar. The nearest Bowl is located 15 miles away in Cardiff.

Play Centre
A 10,000 sqft Play Centre is currently under offer in the scheme. The unit is to include the latest evolution of children’s play equipment and will cater for both casual visitors and pre-booked parties. Uniquely the unit will also be manned by a fully trained teacher whose role will be to introduce a strong educational slant to the fun and activities.

Restaurants
To serve the inevitable custom attracted to the Cinema, Bowl and Play Centre anchor tenants, six restaurants and café/bars are proposed to provide the first and only ‘restaurant cluster’ in South East Wales. The restaurant units are able to benefit from weekday daytime trade from the shoppers and workers in Cwmbran as well as the evening and weekend custom. Two of the six restaurants are already let to China China, the largest buffet restaurant chain in Wales, and Lava Lounge, who have units in Bristol, Cardiff, Swansea and Swindon. Four restaurant units remain available.
